Robert Inklaar presented joint work with Jutta Bolt, Jan Luiten van Zanden and Herman de Jong at the International Comparison Conference in Princeton on May 25. The presentation reported on progress towards a new version of the Maddison Project Database on comparative income levels over the very long run. This research was well-received by the conference participants, which included Angus Deaton, Robert Feenstra, Robert Allen, Erwin Diewert, Stephen Redding and others. The new version of the database is expected to be released later in 2017.
