Zpannend Zernike 2022
During Zpannend Zernike, Groningen was a weekend backstage in the world of science and technology. There was plenty to see and do in the city center and on the Zernike Campus!
The Groningen Science Weekend was in the first week of October. With as namesake of the event; Professor Frits Zernike. The Groningen professor who received the Nobel Prize in physics in 1952.
The event lasted for two days, during which students and researchers showed a lot of exciting things. There was also the chance to ask your question to a real scientist!
On Saturday 1 October from 12:00 to 17:00 in the city center of Groningen. At six locations this year: DOT, ERIBA/UMCG (Antonius Deusinglaan), University Museum (Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat), Forum Groningen (Nieuwe Markt), the Academy Building (Broerstraat) and the Young Researchers (Dirk Huizingastraat).
On Sunday 2 October from 12:00 to 17:00, the Zernike Campus was the stage for Zpannend Zernike. Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of natural sciences, engineering and energy. Locations are: UMCG-PARTREC, Bernoulliborg, Kapteyn Institute and SRON, Hanze University Groningen, EnTranCe and EnergyBarn, Building.
