From a Minor to a Bachelor's degree
If you have enjoyed the Minor Philosophy, and if you are looking for a more intellectual challenge, you can continue your studies in the bachelor programme Philosophy of a Specific Discipline. This programme is a combination study programme consisting of:

two years of your initial bachelor programme (history, psychology, physics, economics, medicine etc.)

the full Minor Philosophy (30 ECTS)

an advanced 30 ECTS programme in philosophy
After completion of the Minor Philosophy you will need just 30 ECTS to be awarded a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
Philosophy of a Specific Discipline programme
The programme’s aim is to deepen your understanding of philosophical issues in your initial study. The Faculty of Philosophy offers additional courses in philosophy of five scientific disciplines, for example:
These courses specifically address philosophical problems in your own scientific or academic discipline. You take electives in, for example, political philosophy, ethics, logic, or philosophy of mind. You conclude the programme by writing a bachelor's thesis on a philosophical topic relating to your initial discipline.
After completion of the programme, you will be awarded a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy of a Specific Discipline which allows you to start with the one-year Master in Philosophy.
