What’s in a Song? - The Sounds that Stick: Sound, Memory, Archives

How are sound, memory and archives related to each other? And what is the relationship between sound, memory and archives? These questions will be answered during this mini-lecture through the use of different samples of city soundscapes and radio archives. Next to that, Stacey Copeland will discuss the importance of ‘community memory keeping.’ So, if you want to know whether the 1970s sound different from the 2020s, visit this lecture!

Please note: The festival programme, including the exact starting time of all events and activities, will be online at the beginning of September.
