Customized Entry Package

Are you interested in the MSc International Economics and Sustainable Development (IE&SD, formerly known as Economic Development and Globalization), but do not meet the requirements for direct entry? If you have studied one of the programmes below at the University of Groningen, you may qualify for a customized Pre-Master's package:

• BSc Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM)
• BA International Relations and International Organization (IRIO)

The knowledge gained in the BSc International Relations and International Organization or BSc Industrial Engineering and Management is highly relevant to the field of International Economics and Sustainable Development. After completing some additional courses you can continue your studies in the MSc International Economics and Sustainable Development.

25 EC customized entry package 

Below is a list of relevant courses for the Pre-MSc IE&SD programme, each worth 5 EC.

We expect students to have an active understanding of mathematics at the VWO A/B level. If you need to refresh your knowledge, consider enrolling in the FEB Mathematics Summer Course.

Course completion options

Students have the option to complete these courses either during their BSc IEM or BA IRIO study, or after earning their Bachelor's degree by enrolling in the Pre-Master's programme. By successfully completing the 25 EC courses relevant to the MSc IE&SD and obtaining a BSc IEM or BA IRIO, students can directly proceed to the MSc IE&SD programme.
