Pre-Master Accountancy and Controlling

The Pre-Master’s programmes Accountancy and Controlling give entry to the regular MSc Accountancy and Controlling. Depending on your prior education (HBO diploma, Dutch academic WO Bachelor diploma or an international diploma), you can follow one of the three programmes.

30 EC programme for HBO Accountancy graduates

The accelerated programme is available for students who acquired a HBO diploma in Accountancy. This programme is 30 ECTS, starts in September and takes half a year. You can then enter the MSc programme in February or September. Resits of courses in block 1.2 are usually planned in April, if you have to take such a resit, you can enter the Master in September.

30 EC programme for HBO-Finance & Control graduates

This accelerated programme is available for students who acquired a HBO Finance & Control. This programme is 30 ECTS, starts in September and takes half a year. You can then enter the MSc programme in February or September. Resits of courses in block 1.2 are usually planned in April, if you have to take such a resit, you can enter the Master in September. If you want to enter the Executive Master of Accountancy after the Master A&C, please contact the programme management of the EMA at ema.feb@rug.nl.

60 EC programme for other graduates

This is the standard Pre-Master programme for students who acquired another HBO diploma, a Dutch academic WO Bachelor diploma or an international diploma.

Transfer to the Executive Master of Accountancy

Students who finish a Pre-Master programme and the MSc Accountancy and Controlling (MSc A&C, profile Accountancy) can still have many deficiencies if they want to enter the executive master programme of Accountancy (Executive Master of Accountancy). If you want to enter the Executive Master of Accountancy after the Master A&C, please contact the programme management of the EMA at ema.feb@rug.nl.
