The Centre of Energy Business and Economics Research (CEnBER) of the UG’s Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the University of Groningen Business School (UGBS) are pleased to announce the 2025 Energy and Climate Economics and Business Days on 25 and 26 March 2025. Leading experts, interested practitioners, PhD candidates, alumni of both FEB and UGBS, and researchers at all career levels are invited to present and discuss innovative research on energy transition and climate policy in an economic or business context.

Call for abstracts and proposals

We invite submissions of extended abstracts of papers (or full papers) that examine energy and climate in an economic or business context, broadly defined. Authors at all levels are invited to submit. Submissions from PhD students and postdocs are especially welcome. We also encourage proposals for a panel discussion on energy and climate policy (in English or Dutch).

Submissions, registration and deadlines

To submit an abstract, panel proposal, or full paper, please fill in this form. The submission deadline is December 31, 2024. Submitters will be notified of acceptance by mid-January. The registration deadline for the conference is February 28, 2025. The link to the registration form will follow soon on the conference page.
