dr. J.F. (Jan Folkert) Deinum

Dr. Jan Folkert Deinum (Jan Folkert is the full first name) is senior educational advisor and researcher at the University of Groningen. He received a Ph.D. from the University of Groningen in 2000. He became an assistant professor in teacher education in 1999 with main tasks on teaching educational science and supervising teacher trainees in their in-service practice. Since 2007 he is senior educational advisor and researcher and responsible for several local and international projects. Amongst them the implementation of e-assessment at University of Groningen, a large professional development project in Poland and trainings of academic leaders in Southern Africa. His research interest is on Higher Education, professional development of teachers, academic leadership and quality assurance of education.
