Van 't Slot lectures in the Master Course on Theological Heritages, and in post-academic courses. The post-academic courses are mainly attended by ministers from the Protestant Church in the Netherlands.

Before the Covid-19 period, Van 't Slot offered a free tutorial for undergraduate students, focusing on e.g. Bonhoeffer's 1932 lecture on the Nature of the Church, or on Sarah Coakley's God, Sexuality, and the Self (see this blog).

Van 't Slot is also supervising some external (non-financed) PhD-projects.
