Charlotte Vlek

As Science Writer fort he FSE Science Newsroom I get to see research from topics allover the Faculty of Science and Engineering. I talk to scientists about their research, and try to get to the essence of what they do and why, to make this accessible to a broad audience. 

I have a background in mathematics and science communication. After a PhD in artificial intelligence, I have worked as educational developer and teacher for this faculty for a few years, and next to my writing I’m still a teacher in the master’s programme on Science Education and Communication.
