Science LinX, the University of Groningen science centre, presented the Enhance Me!? exhibition at Groningen’s Noorderzon arts festival (16-26 August). The exhibition was in the Qu3 pavilion, a cube filled with scientific exhibits.

Enhance Me!? featured a simulation of how our walk changes with age, a transformation module that merged the faces of visitors with those of celebrities such as Beyoncé or Charles Darwin and an explanation of genetic doping. The driving simulator, in which you had to keep the car on the road while programming a navigation device or sending a text message, proved very popular. Some 150,000 people visited Noorderzon; how many of these entered Qu3 is not yet known.
