Dr. D. (Dina) Maniar

Dr. Dina Maniar is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Her primary research revolves around the development of novel synthesis strategies for polymeric materials. A significant aspect of her research group involves the synthesis of sustainable materials, specifically biobased and biodegradable polymers, as well as their composites. In addition to her work on polymeric materials, she is actively engaged in projects focused on enhancing STEM education and studies on science identity among underrepresented groups.

As a member of Young Academics Groningen (YAG), she is committed to advancing diversity and inclusion within the academic community. She seeks to enhance conditions for underrepresented groups and people with disabilities by leveraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
