Voice coaching

Every voice is unique. Get to know and learn to optimally use your own voice with the tailor-made voice coaching training course at the University of Groningen Language Centre. During the training course, our speech therapists will pay attention to the proper use of the voice and they will teach you how to use the power of your voice. That way, you will know how to consciously use your voice to speak more clearly, firmly, or dynamically.

At the Language Centre, we offer various tailor-made training courses, which we give one-to-one, in small groups, or to entire organizations. After a no-obligation intake interview, we propose a specific course design. We develop the training course in consultation with you, based on our many possibilities and expertise. 

What will you learn in this course?

• The proper breathing and vocal techniques

• Increasing the capacity and volume without tiring your voice

• Speaking with confidence and greater persuasiveness

• Employing melody and intonation 

How many hours of independent study are required?

This is a tailor-made training course that matches your personal goals and work situation. We work with your own texts and presentations. During the course, you are expected to practise the skills you have learned and prepare new talks or presentations. We tailor the content and frequency of the self-study to your goals and your personal situation so that you can train effectively and purposefully.

There is no book requested for this course. Course material will be provided during the lessons.

Speech therapy at the Language Centre

Our speech therapists combine years of speech therapy and teaching experience. Our speech therapy support is education-related and therefore not covered by health insurance.

Plan a consultation

This is a tailor-made training course that will be developed in consultation with you. During an intake interview, which is free of charge and non-binding, we will discuss the options that fit you best. The consultation is by appointment only and is held by Google Meet.
