Exam training for proficiency test or general knowledge and skills test (AKV) for doctors and dentists

On 18 July, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) decided that the AKV test will be replaced by language certificates from 1 January 2024. The required level B2+ will not change. Proof of participation in a course at level B2+ is not sufficient for BIG registration.

The University of Groningen Language Centre will therefore conduct a test at B2+ for healthcare professionals and offer a preparatory course. At the moment, we are still preparing this test and course and it is not yet clear when we will offer this. We will keep you informed through the newsletter.
