Dr Julia Harvey has passed away

‘To our great sadness, our colleague
Dr Julia Harvey
was not able to win the fight against her illness, despite her zest for life and her optimism.
Julia was a kind-hearted, engaged and enthusiastic colleague. With her expertise, she put the University Translation and Correction Service on the map.
We will miss her enormously.
We send our empathy to Jaap and to Julia’s family and friends. We wish them much strength in bearing this loss.

On 8 August of this year, Dr Julia Harvey passed away. Her funeral was held in private.
An open gathering to celebrate Julia’s life was held on Saturday 31 August at De Hunzeborgh, Groningen. During this gathering Anje Dijk, on behalf of the Language Centre, gave this speech.
