JTS Grassroots Grants

The Jantina Tammes School of Digital Society, Technology and AI is offering individual 'JTS Grassroots Grants' for researchers, staff and PhDs of the University of Groningen to organise interdisciplinary activities. The grant consists of an average of 2000, or 4000 euros. Exceptionally, the grant can be increased to a maximum of 4,000 if the size and nature of the activity calls for it.

The Jantina Tammes School explores how societies can optimally benefit from and contribute to digitization, digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), with the motto: digital prosperity for all. The School aims to achieve this by fostering interdisciplinary research and education, in close cooperation with societal partners.

To foster interdisciplinary activities in education, research and impact, the Jantina Tammes School provides individual 'Grassroots Grants' for both academics, staff and PhDs within the university. Activities should be in line with the School's theme and objectives. The grant amounts to a maximum of 2,000 or exceptionally 4,000 euros, depending on the size and nature of the activity.
