'AI, Innovation and Society' learning community
The 'AI, Innovation and Society' learning community at the University of Groningen lets students explore the impact of AI through lectures, workshops, and hands-on projects. Students work in multidisciplinary teams on consultancy assignments at local companies, focusing on the benefits of AI for those organisations and gaining some entrepreneurial insights at the same time.
They start with a business analysis to understand the company’s challenges and pain points before proposing AI-driven solutions. The programme emphasises collaboration, networking, and hands-on experience, preparing participants for careers in the future.
