External Challenge DUO

11 April 2023

On Monday April 20th the Jantina Tammes School had the pleasure of organizing an external challenge with the DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs) and researchers from different disciplines in the House of Connections. The aim of the challenge was to see if DUO and researchers could work together on themes related to Digital Identity.

Your refelctions on this topics

To the general public DUO is known for student finance, less known is that DUO is also investing in innovation by transforming existing processes such as digital identity and privacy.

The discussion between DUO and researchers from the faculties of Law, Arts and Science and Engineering was led along three topics related to these themes ranging from practical implications to legal implications and ethical objections. The discussions led to fruitful discussions and addressed topics that were not yet on DUO’s radar.

We would like to thank Thijs Teisman, Jan van Mulligen, Johann Schreurs and Hennie Bulstra from DUO and the researchers for participating in this challenge. There will be a follow up on the challenge, deeping the topics that were already discussed and expanding it to new topics. We hope to meet (again) soon.
