The workshop aims to explore the various dimensions of disinformation, particularly focusing on visual and multimodal aspects during crises. It seeks to provide insights into the strategies used for detecting and debunking false claims, through platforms like TikTok and Youtube.
The workshop will also delve into the critical evaluation of fact-checking organizations, examining the work of external assessors. Additionally, it aims to empower young adults by enhancing their resilience against disinformation, equipping them with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the complex landscape of false information.
