Imagine a world where health care providers can focus on providing the best care for their patients, while integrated Large Language Models (LLMs) assist with all other necessities.

With an ageing population and healthcare costs rising, innovation in the healthcare system is needed to increase productivity and provide patients with the care they deserve. As healthcare professionals increasingly leave the industry due to heavy workloads, integrating LLMs into healthcare systems offers potential relief. However, there are major challenges ahead in effectively leveraging these advanced AI technologies to improve healthcare outcomes, from diagnostics to patient care.

During the MIT Hacking Medicine Groningen edition participants are set to tackle this challenge head-on. This hackathon will take place from November 29th to December 1st in Groningen, in collaboration with the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), the University of Groningen's Jantina Tammes School of Digital Society Technology and AI, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This is your chance to be at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Join us to explore how LLMs can:

  • Enhance clinical outcomes for patients and healthcare providers
  • Drive innovation and business outcomes for startups and industry leaders
  • Foster a collaborative ecosystem among healthcare professionals, technologists, and business experts

Work alongside brilliant minds, from AI specialists to healthcare professionals to entrepreneurs, to create solutions that will redefine the future of healthcare. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a movement that will shape the industry for years to come.
