Have you always been curious about Machine Learning but feel intimidated by your lack of programming or math skills? This workshop is perfect for you!
Join Muhamed Amin and your fellow students as we dive into a real-world project using Machine Learning. You will learn methods such as linear regression, least square fitting, logistic regression, decision trees, support vector machine and will be introduced to neural networks. If you can't get enough and want to learn even more about this topic, you can continue unsupervised learning k-mean clustering, hierarchical clustering and principal component analysis.
The workshop caters to students and professionals alike, with just a basic understanding of Python required. Bring your own device and install Jupyter Notebook, we’ll be using libraries like Sci-kit-lean, numpy and tensorflow libraries.
Don’t miss this opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge.
Learning Outcomes:
-
To understand the term “Machine Learning (ML)” and its applications.
-
To learn the available ML libraries and their applications.
-
To learn how to manipulate data using ML methods.
-
To understand the abstraction of the ML methods, to implement them and to compare the implementation to the existing Python libraries.
-
To understand the differences between supervised learning and unsupervised learning.
-
To be able to decide on the appropriate ML methods for a given problem.
Whether you attend in person or online (the workshop is hybrid), don’t miss this chance to embark on your Machine Learning journey!
Please note: This workshop spans two days and it is required to attend both days.
