As a senior lecturer I encourage students to critically engage with the many riddles and contradictions of modern history and its most controversial debates. I hope to turn students into veritable history junkies; addicted to research like myself. I am a classical historian with a love of narrative history; I value archival research and source critical analyis, in addition to excellent writing skills.
