S. (Sunkung) Choi, Dr

Dr. Sunkung Choi is an Assistant Professor at Global Economics & Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business. She graduated with an MA in Economics at Pusan National University (PNU) and received her Doctoral degree (Magna cum laude) at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany with her dissertation "Effects of Experiencing Economic Crisis on Risk Perception and Risk Attitude – the South Korean Case" (2014). Her research interests include behavioral economics and she applies economic experiments as the research method. In addition to her position at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Choi has a research affiliation with CEASG. As an alumna of PNU, dr. Choi is also the coordinator of the PNU-Groningen Research Centre in Busan (South Korea) and of the various annual summer schools for PNU students at the University of Groningen.
