prof. dr. R. (Ronald) Boellaard

Ronald Boellaard is full professor at both the UMCG and Amsterdam UMC. He is specialised in quantitative molecular (PET/CT and PET/MR) imaging and methodology.  He main research focuses on kinetic modelling and evaluation of new radiotracers, PET/CT harmonisation and standardisation, radiomics and artificial intelligence in oncology and brain PET imaging. He is the first author of the European FDG PET/CT in oncology guideline and scientific chair of the European PET accreditation program (EARL). He has presently an H-index of 81 and he published more than 400 peer reviewed papers. He is member of various international committees.
