dr. R.A.M. (Renate) Neimeijer
In my work as a scientist practicioner in an academic centre for eating disorders and obesity I am doing my best to contribute both as a clinician, and a researcher to good mental health care for eating disorder patients. In my work as a psychologist on the one hand, I am specialized in diagnostics and treatment of eating disorder patients. My research on the other hand, focuses on dysfunctional information processing in eating disorders and aims to contribute to a better understanding of mechanisms that are crucial in the development and maintenance of this persistent disorder and will lead to improvement of current treatment.
