• Postdoctoral fellow in Astropaticle Physics group, KVI, University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands (01.05.2008-01.05.2011). Developing and testing a reflector for photomultiplier tubes in a new Optical Module for the KM3NeT detector ( future cubic-km scale neutrino telescope in Mediterranean Sea)
• Postdoctoral fellow in Biophysics group, Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung (GSI), Darmstadt, Germany (12.2005-01.02.2008). Also performing medical physicist tasks: every-day tests of irradiation soft- and hard-ware, operating patient irradiation at GSI. Experimental studies on radiation induced phosphenes sensed by patients undergoing Heavy Ion Tumour therapy at GSI.

Education:

• PhD in Nuclear Physics from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, Ukraine, December 2005 (PhD research performed at GSI, Darmstadt, Germany). Title of dissertation: "Structure of excited states in nuclei near 100Sn studied in beta decay"
