N.J.L. (Noor) Swart

In 2022, Noor Swart graduated with honours from the University of Groningen, earning a Master's degree in both Legal Research and International Human Rights Law. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Dutch Law with honours and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy of a Specific Discipline. Along her academic journey, she also completed the Honours College Bachelor program and spent a semester studying at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

Throughout her studies, Noor actively contributed to various research projects and published her first academic article. Since February 2022, Noor has been pursuing her PhD at the Department of Legal Methods, where she explores the right to freedom of peaceful assembly, particularly in situations in which it intersects with the rights of others. Furthermore, Noor has already secured several funded research projects on the right to protest during the course of her PhD.
