PhD Student Sportpsychology
I studied Sport and Health in Prevention and Therapy (BA) and Psychology in Sport and Exercise (MSc) at the German Sport University Cologne. During my studies I gained experience in the field as a Sport and Exercise instructor in a psychiatry for children and adolescents and in research as a student and research assistant in the department of Sportpsychology and the department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. After my studies I focused on the psychology of high performance and I was coaching athletes. My main expertise is on emotion regulation and the detection, interpretation, and optimal use of nonverbal behavior. In my current PhD I investigate the resilience of elite soccer players.
