prof. dr. M. (Mike) Huiskes

Mike Huiskes teaches courses in the BA programmes of Communication and Information Studies (CIS) and Dutch Language and Culture (NTC) on research methods, linguistics, pragmatics, health communication and conversation analysis. In the MA-programme he teaches a research class on communication skills in medical interaction and a course on the development of communication training. He also supervises BA and MA theses.

At the UMCG (academic medical hospital in Groningen) he teaches a course on dialogical leadership, workshops on communication skills in medical interaction and workshops on joint activities and learning in the operating theatre.
