I am currently involved in several ongoing research projects with various colleages:

With Tom Wielheesen (PhD-student) and Tammo Bijmolt:

  • Investigating the impact of local assortment on assortment variety perception, community enhencement, store affection and custoer share-of-wallet

  • Analyzing how independent store entrepreneurs utilize social media to enhance store perception and store attactiveness

  • Assessing the influence of local consumer, competition and store characteristics on the effectiveness of weekly price promotions (leaflets)

  • Studying the impact of franchiser support and store owner innovativeness on local eCommerce performance

  • Examining the relationshop between store renewal investment stretgy and long-term store performance
