L.M. (Lysanne) Jorna, MSc

I've started my scientific career here, in Groningen, with the Bachelor Biology. I chose to do Biomedical Sciences, with a minor in teaching. After this, I joined the master Biomedical sciences, where I did my first internship in on Epac2 in diabetes, followed by a second internship on hemangiomal cells at Brown University. 

I then started a Phd at pediatric cardiology on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, with a focus on the cellular signal transduction in endothelial and smooth muscle cells of the lung vasculature. 

Since my minor I've only grown more fond of teaching. After my PhD I've decided to give it a try at the RUG. I've successfully obtained my University Teaching Qualification, and am now involved in numerous courses with a focus on the courses of the bachelor Behaviour and Neurosciences.
