Jeannette Wiersema has a certificate of the Pedagogic Academy of Maastricht. After her study she travelled and worked in France, Italy and Egypt (teacher at a Montessorischool, as a private teacher, secretary at the Dutch Embassy and at different companies). Back in the Netherlands, she followed a study as a secretary and very soon had a job at the faculty of economics, University of Groningen. Since 1995 she worked as a secretary at the department Marketing and now she works at the department Innovation Management & Strategy.
