PRESCRIP-TEC project, WP lead Monitoring and Evaluation
The Prevention and Screening Innovation Project - Towards Elimination of Cervical Cancer is a H2020 funded project whereby innovative screening methods are implemented in Bangladesh, Slovakia, India and Uganda. The innovative screening methods consist of self-testing for HPV infection and cervical examination using artificial intelligence. This project is for 3 years and the implementation study aims to provide insights into the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of this innovative HPV screening method. UMCG is coordinator of this project.
RIVER-EU project, WP co-lead Implementation and Evaluation of interventions
RIVER-EU stands for Reducing Inequalities in Vaccine uptake in the European Region – Engaging Underserved communities. This project aims to improve access to vaccination services for underserved communities, whereby the specific focus is on MMR and HPV vaccination. Selected underserved communities are Roma communities in Slovakia, Ukrainian population in Poland, Migrants and refugees in Greece and female adolescents with a Turkish and Maroccon migration background in The Netherlands. This is a 5 year project and UMCG is coordinator.
HEALCARe project, WP co-lead Quality
Health literacy competences to improve respectful and compassionate care by undergraduate nurses in United Republic of Tanzania. This project is funded by Erasmus+ and is a capacity building project to develop, implement and evaluate an educational program whereby nurses are being trained on health literacy competences to improve respectful and compassionate care.
IMPACCT project, researcher
From 2018-2021 I was involved in the IMPACCT project that stands for IMproving PAtient-centered Communication Competences. This project focused on developing, implementing and evaluating health literacy communication education for (future) healthcare providers in Europe.
