I am leading several Research and Development Projects in the field of language testing and education, which are carried out by Diataal BV, a company originated in this university. A major concern is the (further) development of an internet application for Dutch language tests for the intake and diagnosis of L1 and L2 pupils in Dutch schools, Diataal (www.diataal.nl).

One of the recent projects (2020-21) is the development of a monitoring system for primary schools, with standardized tests for Dutch language, reading and arithmics according to guidelines of the Dutch Ministery of Education.  

Another project is the development of report formats for teachers, and a guidance for teachers how to carry out a diagnostic assessment in their schools.
