D.A.L. (David) Cadier, PhD

I am an Assistant Professor of European Politics at the Department of International Relations and International Organisation.

Prior to joining the University of Groningen, I was a researcher at Sciences Po's Centre for International Studies (CERI) (2018-2021) and a Teaching Fellow in International Strategy and Diplomacy at the London School of Economics (2012-2015). I have held visiting positions at, inter alia, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy , SAIS Johns Hopkins University, the Prague Institute of International Relations and the Finnish Institute of International Affairs. I obtained my PhD from Sciences Po Paris and, before that, I had professional experiences at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and with the French diplomacy.
