prof. dr. A.O. (Anastasiia) Krushynska
Dr. Anastasiia Krushynska has been an Assistant Professor on Dynamics and Vibrations at the Computational Mechanics and Materials Engineering (CMME) group at ENTEG since May 2019.
After getting a Ph.D. degree in Mechanics of Deformable Solids from Kyiv National University in Ukraine, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher at NAS of Ukraine, NTU in Taiwan, TU/e in the Netherlands, and UniTr in Italy, and as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the University of Torino in Italy. Her research interests are in the fields of Wave Dynamics, Acoustics, and Materials Science focused on elastic, acoustic, and mechanical metamaterials. She has published more than 45 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of Mechanics and Physics of Solids, New Journal of Physics, and others, with some of them widely highlighted in the news and press releases. She is currently leading a MetaMechanics group including five PhD students (one visiting).
Her research was distinguished by the EU Cofund Marie-Curie Fellowship, I-INCE Young Professional Grant, IACM Fellowship for Early Career Female Researchers, and NWO-M1 Open Competition grant. Dr. Krushynska serves as an editor in three international journals, a reviewer for 60+ journals (including Nature, Matter, Advanced Materials, Materials Horizons, Nature Communications, Physical Review journals, etc.) and 3 international conferences, and an external referee of the European Commission projects.
