New IT-courses 2023-2024

Do you want to learn the basics of programming in Python or in R? Do you like to get a basic theoretical foundation regarding deep learning? Or do you want to learn how to work with our Hábrók cluster. Via Corporate Academy we offer several IT courses to enhance your IT skills.

Introduction to R (online/hybrid)

In this beginners course we'll guide you through the basics of importing data, cleaning and restructuring the data, visualizing and summarizing your data, and finally applying statistical models on your data.

  • 20 November - 1 December 2023 (two week course)
  • January - February 2024
  • 5 March - 28 May 2024 (twelve week evening course)

Python - Introduction to Programming (online/hybrid)

In this introductory course we'll use python to show you the most important tools in programming; conditions, loops, functions, and datatypes like integers, floats, strings, lists, tuples, dictionaries and eventually classes.

  • 18 September - 18 December 2023 (twelve week evening course)
  • January - February 2024

A gentle introduction to Deep Learning (onsite)

Learn how to train your first neural network, see some of the groundwork of gradient descent, and start with advanced applications in natural language processing and computer vision. You'll do hands-on assignments, so be sure you know some basic Python.

  • 9 November (one full day course) (no course fee)
