1) Supported Working Hours

Do you want to work on your research project, publication or Master thesis, and have support immediately available when you need it? Or do you have questions about your data, analysis or visualisation? We can work together to make your project happen. Join us at the Supported Working Hours, every Tuesday at Zernike.

2) Plan a personal meeting

Researcher, Teacher or PhD? Plan a meeting with one of our GIS experts of the Geodienst with our Appointment Planner. We can help you with your research setup as well as struggles with your data or analysis.

Lilia Boyadzhieva - Junior GIS Specialist
Hello! My name is Lilia Boyadzhieva, and I’ve been a Junior GIS Specialist at the Geodienst since September 2023. I come from Bulgaria and currently study Real Estate Studies at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences. As a visual learner myself, I am passionate about visualisation and making visually pleasing maps. In the last few years, I’ve also grown fond of data analysis, so the Geodienst is the perfect place to explore it further.

Luuk ten Berge - Junior GIS Specialist
Hello! My name is Luuk ten Berge and since April 2024 I am part of the Geodienst team as a Junior GIS Specialist. I combine my work with a Master's degree in Economic Geography and Environmental and Infrastructure Planning, both at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences. During my studies I discovered the value of spatial analysis. What fascinates me most is how different aspects come together and, with the right tools, lead to surprising and insightful results. At the Geodienst I want to help others with their geo-related questions and share my enthusiasm with as many people as possible!

Rui Jiang - Junior GIS Specialist
Hello! My name is Rui Jiang, and I’ve been a Junior GIS Specialist at the Geodienst since September 2024. I come from China and am currently pursuing a Research Master’s in Islands and Sustainability at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences. With a background in communication and marketing, I’ve developed a passion for storytelling through maps. I want to use GIS to analyze spatial data, create visually engaging maps, and uncover patterns that help solve research problems. I look forward to contributing to your research story as well!
