Want to know which VR/AR/3D and GEO tools are available and most suitable for your research or education? Register for our workshop, exchange ideas with colleagues and learn how to work with the tools and facilities in one day.

Content of the workshop

You will get to try different head mount displays, 360 degrees video, zSpace, the GEO map table, the Reality Cube and the Reality Theatre. At the end of the afternoon there is a brainstorming session to see how you could use it in your education or research and what further steps can be taken.

At the end of the course you:

  • have an overview of the VR/AR/3D and GEO tools and facilities available at the University of Groningen;
  • know the possibilities of the various tools and facilities;
  • can estimate which tool or facility is most suitable for your research or educational purposes.
