Python is the most popular language for data science worldwide, but it is also a widely used general-purpose programming language at its core.
In this introductory course, we'll use Python to demonstrate the most essential programming concepts: conditions, loops, functions, and data types like integers, floats, strings, lists, tuples, dictionaries, and eventually classes.
Specifics
This course is organized in conjunction with the Datawise minor, providing a few additional perks. Datawise minor students will participate in the same Kaltura classroom. Additionally, an optional on-site guided working session will be held every Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 at the BSS faculty. Datawise students will receive extra practice assignments that you can also complete if you wish.
Result
At the end of the course you'll not only be able to work with Python, but you will also be able to expand your knowledge in your own specific work field.
