dr. Mónica López López and dr. Mijntje ten Brummelaar receive a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action
Rudolf Agricola Fellows dr. Mónica López López and dr. Mijntje ten Brummelaar have received a European-funded project. They do so, together with a consortium of seventeen institutions (seven of which are non-academic) in twelf different countries. The project is coordinated by Dr Montserrat Rifà at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

About the project
K-REPORTERS Reassembling politics across children's cultures to scale intersectional pedagogies (HORIZON-MSCA) is an interdisciplinary, international and intersectorial project dedicated to explore children policies and cultures within today’s societies from the perspective of decolonial childhood studies.
The project legitimizes the discourses of childhood as scientific knowledge, with the aim of improving child wellbeing - a main axis in building democratic communities - through the design of intersectional educational tools for professionals.
The project will last four years and has a total budget of €1,403,000, of which €230,000 will go to the University of Groningen. The project will start in Januari 2024 with a kick-off in Barcelona.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are the European Union’s reference programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training.
