Obituary notice Sanne Lamers
We share the very sad news with you that Sanne Lamers, Adaptive Life PhD student in the Neurobiology and EGDB groups, passed away in her sleep last Monday night, 29 January. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, supervisors and many close colleagues. On behalf of GELIFES we wish them all strength and togetherness in this difficult time.
For those who want to commemorate Sanne, a condolence book has been placed in a quiet room at the Linnaeusborg (5171.0160). Colleagues who wish to contemplate their memories with Sanne may find a quiet space here. Those who want to express their thoughts and share their memories are warmly welcome to visit the room and leave their thoughts in any form in the book available there. This book will later on also include all emails shared by former colleagues and will be given to Sanne’s family. Those who would like to light a candle, there is one in a metal container on the table (please make sure to extinguish it before leaving the room).
