Regulations CLCG concerning allowances for conference and research trips as well as conference organisation
The CLCG allowances remain restricted to travel- and accommodation costs for research or conference visits, and to the organisation of conferences at this Faculty.

Maximum allowances for 2024
|

For research-related travel: max. € 1300 in travel and accommodation costs.
|
|

For organising a conference / workshop at this Faculty
|
|
Conferences of 2 or more days: max. € 2000
|
|
One-day conferences: max. € 1000
|
|
For conferences, organized together with other disciplines or Faculties, an additional sum of max. € 500 may be awarded.

NB1: The holders of research projects with NWO, ERC, etc (2nd and 3rd flow projects) should first use up their own benchfees in those projects completely. This is what these benchfees are meant for after all.
NB2: Should the theme of the conference fit within one of the focus themes of the University of Groningen (Sustainable society, Energy, Healthy Ageing), then further subsidies can be applied for with the university co-ordinators of those three themes.
