3. BCN Poster Presentation 2025

Compulsory once with a poster. May be repeated for additional credits.

Content

All PhD students will be invited to make a poster about their research and to present it in a small group of fellow PhD students, with one senior BCN researcher functioning as a supervisor. Within this group you are also expected to ask questions about posters of other participants.

Target Group

Attendance: All PhD students and staff members within BCN.
Presentation: All BCN PhD students.

0,25 EC without a poster.

Objectives

1. Practicing a poster presentation of scientific research findings and plans to a broad audience.
2. Providing an overview of current BCN research.

After this course you should have improved your abilities to

1. present your research visually in a clear and self-explanatory way
2. explain your research to fellow PhD students and senior scientists, both inside and outside your field
3. answer questions about your research in a clear and concise way
4. screen, understand and ask questions about posters of other researchers
