'Residential nuisance' theme at lecture 10 June
The lecture on June 10 will focus on the theme of residential nuisance. Michel Vols, researcher at the University of Groningen, and Coen van den Noort, judge (North Netherlands District Court), will tell how they view extreme nuisance caused by local residents.
Using examples, Vols explains what you, governments and other agencies can do about this. The judge will explain what considerations he makes and on what basis he must make a ruling.

The Public Academy for Jurisprudence
Through lectures aimed at the general public, the Publieksacademie voor de Rechtspraak (Public Academy for Jurisprudence) seeks to satisfy this immense interest. The Public Academy is a collaboration between the Court of the Northern Netherlands, the Faculty of Law at the University of Groningen, the Northern Netherlands Public Prosecution Service and the Dagblad van het Noorden newspaper.
