Case: Future-proof disciplinary law

Researchers from the University of Groningen and Erasmus University Rotterdam conducted research on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport on two topics related to disciplinary law for health care providers under the BIG Act.

The research team consists of: Dr R.L. (Rianne) Herregodts (projectleider) and Prof. Dr M.L.M (Marc) Hertogh (RUG), Dr C.A. (Caressa) Bol and Dr J. (Jan-Willem) Weenink (EUR).

Research question

The research is about the ways in which the learning effect of disciplinary proceedings can be promoted and the relationship between the individual nature of disciplinary proceedings in relation to the cooperation that often characterizes the provision of care in practice.
