Mission, principles and goals

General mission

The mission of the Research Office is to make a substantial contribution to the quality of research in the Faculty of Law and to the acquisition of funded research.

Principles

We:

  • unburden researchers and assist them in word and deed;
  • are approachable and proactive and respond quickly;
  • act with integrity and are there for everyone;
  • are professionals and deliver high quality work;
  • don't do it alone, but work together across the faculty and university.

Concrete goals

  • Be a point of contact, question and guide for all researchers;
  • Initiate and help shape policy to promote high-quality research;
  • Stimulate talent development;
  • Actively guide, support and facilitate grant applications;
  • Support externally funded projects;
  • Prepare nominations;
  • Promote research collaborations;
  • Promote interdisciplinary research, including at regional, national, European and international levels;
  • Increase visibility of research and profile of faculty;
  • Stimulate Open Science;
  • Optimize research support.
