Mission, principles and goals
General mission
The mission of the Research Office is to make a substantial contribution to the quality of research in the Faculty of Law and to the acquisition of funded research.
Principles
We:
- unburden researchers and assist them in word and deed;
- are approachable and proactive and respond quickly;
- act with integrity and are there for everyone;
- are professionals and deliver high quality work;
- don't do it alone, but work together across the faculty and university.
Concrete goals
- Be a point of contact, question and guide for all researchers;
- Initiate and help shape policy to promote high-quality research;
- Stimulate talent development;
- Actively guide, support and facilitate grant applications;
- Support externally funded projects;
- Prepare nominations;
- Promote research collaborations;
- Promote interdisciplinary research, including at regional, national, European and international levels;
- Increase visibility of research and profile of faculty;
- Stimulate Open Science;
- Optimize research support.
