Professor Scherpen finalist Prince Friso Engineering Award – vote now for the Public Prize!
Professor Jacquelien Scherpen, University of Groningen, is one of the three finalists for the Prince Friso Engineering Award 2023. In addition to the jury prize, there is also a public prize. For this Public Award, everyone can vote for one of the three nominees from February 14 to March 13. This year, all three nominees are female. The winner will be announced on March 15, during the Day of the Engineer. Princess Beatrix and Princess Mabel will also be present at that event.
Jacquelien Scherpen is a professor in System and Control Engineering at the Engineering and Technology Institute Groningen (ENTEG), director of the Groningen Engineering Center and captain of science of the top team Holland High Tech.

Prince Friso Engineering Award
The Royal Institute of Engineers (Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs, KIVI) is presenting the award for the ninth time this year. With the prize, KIVI wants to make excellent engineers and their work visible. In addition to the jury prize and the public prize, a prize will also be awarded to a student team.
