EUR 1 million for Serengeti research Han Olff

On February 16th, the European Union announced it has selected the AfricanBioServices proposal as H2020 project. Professor Han Olff of the Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences is one of the Work Package Leaders of this H2020 project entitled Linking biodiversity, ecosystem functions and services in the Great Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem; drivers of change and causalities and sustainable management strategies. The project entails an investment of 10 million euros over the next four years. One million euros is awarded to Olff’s work package. > more about the project
