Cooperation agreement between the University of Groningen and RAAP archaeological consultancy

15 October 2021

The University of Groningen and RAAP archaeological consultancy have signed a cooperation agreement to improve the connection between the Master's programme in Archaeology and the labour market.

As a leading archaeological consultancy, RAAP has been operating in the labour market for years. Therefore, the company knows better than anyone which competencies are required in the field. By offering internships and thesis subjects, students of Archaeology can orientate themselves in the field. The Archaeology programme also offers RAAP employees the opportunity to obtain the status of KNA Archaeologist MA through a shortened master's programme.

The agreement between the two parties is entered into for a period of three years (2021-2024). The possibility of extending the cooperation is also open.
